Santiváñez Abogados began activities in the city of Piura, with the help of our founding partner Aníbal Santiváñez de Vivanco. In 1964 he began an uninterrupted trajectory of legal services of the highest level of professionalism and commitment to clients, the community and the country.

In 2005, in partnership with another firm, it began activities in Lima, undertaking the challenge of expanding the geographical scope of its services and deepening the more specialized legal practices required by modern business activity. However, in 2009 this company concluded.

During the following years, Santiváñez Abogados consolidated and grew in a structured and organic way. It soon merged and integrated with select specialized advisory firms, of recognized prestige and the highest ethical standards, Energy Partners (energy and infrastructure) in 2011, and Capella & Delgado Abogados (labor) in 2013. In that same year, Fidel Rocha, a lawyer with extensive experience in the electricity market, joined the company, consolidating the practice.

In 2024, Martinot Abogados joins Santiváñez Abogados, thus forming a firm of 50 lawyers. The incorporation of Martinot Abogados now allows Santiváñez Abogados to add to its portfolio of highly specialized legal practices, those of company restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, data protection, intellectual property, aeronautics, and strengthens others such as labor, tax, competition and consumer protection.
